Coordinator

Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV). Research lab in biomechanics, located in Valencia (Spain).

IBV will be the coordinator of the project, and will assume the coordination of the phases of detection of necessities and learning contents, and integration and adaptation of them, supervising and integrating the actions of each partner. It will be the mediator between the consortium and the National Agency, and will be responsible for coordinating on a day-by-day basis the technical and administrative tasks.

Partners

Adapting, S.L. Software consultancy and advanced web development company, located in Valencia (Spain).

Adapting will bring about the technology for the development of the project: the e-learning platform and the simulation tool orthoSIM. In addition, it will give technical support to the partners for the generation of learning contents with these tools. Adapting will be responsible for the translation into English of the teaching contents for the on-line course and will implement the on-line course in English, Spanish, German and French by integrating it into the telematic platform in the OrthoSIM web page. It will also maintain the telematic system during the validation, and will participate in the dissemination and management tasks together with the other partners.

Laboratoire de BioMécanique (LBM) / SERAM. Research lab in biomechanics, located in Paris (France).

LBM will be in charge of the detection, in France, of the learning necessities of the professionals the course is addressed to. They will take part in the definition of the learning contents and will carry out the integration and adaptation of the contents they are responsible for. They will also carry out the translation to French of these learning contents for the on-line course and will take part in the training course validation. Moreover, LBM will carry out evaluation tasks and will participate in the project’s management in accordance with the established quality plan.

BGU Murnau und PMU Salzburg, Research lab in biomechanics, tightly related to a medical rehabilitation centre, located in Bavaria (Germany).

BGU Murnau will be responsible for the detection of learning necessities in Germany, will participate in the definition of de teaching contents of the course and will provide the clinical cases that will be integrated. It will be responsible for the translation into German of the teaching contents for the on-line course and will participate in the validation of the pilot course. It will also participate in the valorisation and management tasks, according to the quality plan that will be established.

Sociedad de Traumatología y Ortopedia de la Comunidad Valenciana (SOTOCAV), Surgeon’s regional society, located in Valencia (Spain).

SOTOCAV will participate in the detection in Spain of learning needs, will check the integration of the teaching contents and will participate into the validation of the results of the pilot course. It will carry out the assigned tasks of valorisation and will also participate in the management tasks, according to the quality plan that will be developed.

Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) - Centro de Formación de Posgrado. Postgraduate Learning Centre of the Polytechnical University, located in Valencia (Spain).

The CFP of the UPV will offer to the project its wide experience in the continuous training of professional workers. It will closely collaborate with IBV during the detection of learning needs and will participate in the adaptation and integration of learning contents, consulting the other partners in the didactic methods for e-learning applications and making pedagogic support. Together with IBV, it will be responsible of the usability validation reports, and will be in charge of the collection and analysis of the results stemming from the satisfaction surveys. Finally, it will actively participate in the dissemination and management tasks, according to the quality plan to be developed.
